Youth VS Experience

Youth VS Experience

This off  season has been one to reminder in Cleveland, Ohio. First we get Johnny Manziel for the Browns, the Cleveland CAVS get the first pick in the NBA draft and select Kansas stud Andrew Wiggins and now LeBron James said the words we have been waiting to hear, I’m Coming Home! Big decisions have to be made with the future of the CAVS organization and first on the list is to give LeBron James some help. Enter Kevin Love vs Andrew Wiggins trade talk. Things are heating up in Cleveland with trade talks between the Cleveland CAVS and Minnesota for Kevin Love  and Andrew Wiggins.

I know that the numbers Kevin Love put up last year were great 26 points and 12 rebounds. Kevin Love is one of the 10-15 best players in the NBA right now.  I also hear the concerns as well, never been to the playoffs and padding his stats on a bad team in Minnesota. Cleveland has to win now and with LeBron only signing a 2 year deal with the CAVS, you don’t want to make him unhappy. Remember “The Decision”. But I am not gonna drink the Kevin Love Kool-Aid yet. He is a special talent that has a nice 3 point shot. But so did Chris Bosh with Miami last year and they didn’t win it all. We got Mike Miller to hit that shot now. What the CAVS needed was a real big man. A shot blocker that will protect the rim and Kevin Love doesn’t do that.

Andrew Wiggins will give you youth and extra cap space to help fix on of Cleveland’s biggest problems interior defense and rim protection. LeBron James is aware that he won’t turn this thing around in a year, so why don’t they use this time to develop Wiggins and use extra money to get that big man they need. Cleveland has a real good core of young talent and spending all of their money on a unproven veteran in Kevin Love is not a smart move. They have to make solid choices and build a organization that will contend for year’s and Kevin Love can just walk out of Minnesota with know CAVS loss next year. How good would Cleveland be with Kevin Love and Andrew Wiggins. I think that would be the best move for them. We have came this far let’s make quality moves and keep this thing together.
