Tim Tebow is Back

Tim Tebow is Back

Tim Tebow is BACK!! Chip Kelly and the Philadelphia Eagles have signed the former Denver Bronco, New York Jet and New England Patriot to a one year contract. I have know ideas what his role for the Philadelphia Eagles will be. I have seen Tim Tebow have success while playing with the Denver Broncos leading them to a 1st round playoff game win. With the producution of his 1st NFL season I began to be a believer in his style of play. He continued to make plays and give Denver a opportunity to win, but he never received another shot at Denver. TheĀ  main problem that I saw with Tim Tebow was one of the worst to have as a NFL quarterback, he couldn’t throw the football.

The main role that I see him playing in this Eagles organization is to be a leader in the locker room and show these young athletes how to be a professional. Now I am hard on Tim Tebow not because he was a bad person(I believe he is a great person) but because he is not an NFL quarterback and believe that if he loves the games as much as he say’s he would play another position. With Chip Kelly at the helm of the Eagles Organization, he want’s to be the main attraction and I don’t believe in his way of coaching in the NFL. Let me explain, in college football the head coach sells the tickets not the players and I believe Chip Kelly is trying to make himself a star by getting rid of all their star players and replacing them with average players that believe in his system. That won’t work in the NFL this is a star driven league that makes players stars and make coaches successful. With that being said I say it again what good would Tim Tebow be?

Tim Tebow is the 4th quarterback that Chip Kelly has and he does run a great uptempo offense that he learned at the University of Florida with then head coach Urban Myer. He won the National Championship while at Florida and I see what Chip is trying to do, but this is not the same Tim Tebow that was at Florida. He has been an NFL underachiever and I think that he lost faith in his game after his departure from Denver. I believe that this is Tim’s last shot in the NFL and if it doesn’t work then back to broadcasting it is for him. Even though he has been working with a passing coach preparing for him return to the NFL, I just know that he would be more effective playing another position on the field. I will be watching this whole process play out from training camp to the 1st preseason game, I hope he can handle all the pressure because all eyes are on him. Good Luck Tim, we all watching.
